HOW I CAN HELP

RECORDING
A great record starts with a great performance. My first priority is creating a calm, comfortable environment where you feel safe to take creative risks and deliver your best takes. We'll focus on capturing the true character of your music, carefully selecting the right gear to serve the song, not the other way around. The goal is to get the performance right at the source, capturing the energy and emotion that makes your music yours.

MIXING
A good mix isn't about making every instrument loud; it's about making every part work together. I'll bring clarity, depth, and cohesion to your tracks, ensuring that the arrangement breathes and the groove locks in. My approach is always musical, not technical. We'll work to create a mix that feels intentional and emotionally resonant, where the production supports the song rather than calling attention to itself.

PRODUCTION & FINISHING
Many artists have incredible songs that are 90% of the way there. I specialize in that last 10%. This can mean helping refine an arrangement, crafting vocal harmonies that elevate the melody, or translating your raw demos into a cohesive, finished recording. If you have strong ideas but struggle to get them across the finish line, I can provide the structure and perspective needed to complete your project and make it something you're truly proud to share.
MY APPROACH
I started recording music for my own bands when I was 16, long before I ever considered it a career. That instinct—the simple joy of capturing a sound and serving a song—has guided me ever since. After getting a degree in audio, a formative internship at the legendary Sound City studios cemented my philosophy: the best records are built on performance, vibe, and a supportive, ego-free environment.
Over the past 20 years, I've built my practice on a single principle: serve the song and the artist's vision.
My role is to be a translator. I take the instincts you have about your music and help you turn them into clear production decisions, without stripping away your personality. I believe creative direction should protect ideas and momentum, not shut them down. In my studio, the pressure is off, but the standards are high. It's a collaborative space, not a proving ground.
I work best with artists who have a clear identity and care deeply about their craft. If you value feel over flash and honesty over hype, we'll probably get along.
THE SPACE
Located on a quiet property in the San Fernando Valley, my studio is a space built for focus and comfort. It's well-equipped to handle anything from a solo vocal session to a full band tracking live, but designed to feel relaxed, so you can enjoy the process. It's a room where the gear is there to serve your music, not to impress you.
